Hi folks, Things are getting sweeter and more gratifying with the Lollipop update approaching to numerous Android devices across the world. However, it is a disappointment that none of them were official except for Motorola who unveiled the OTA updates to Moto X Pure Edition devices for a soak test. Now the Lollipop arrives to the Korean LG G3 consumers with the model number F400S, but this is not official.
LG’s track record isn’t impressive when comes to the updates, but the LG G3 is the reincarnation of producer and we think LG is striving hard to roll-out the updates immediately. timmytim of XDA forums had uploaded the leaked firmware on XDA website and it is in the KDZ format which is the standard firmware format for the LG gadgets. So, you should be able to very easily flash the firmware using the LG flash tool without any difficulties.
According to the conversation in the XDA thread, it is clear that the firmware is unpredictable and might cause issues. But you can get the Lollipop update running and rocking on your LG G3 device before anyone else. Since update is flashed using the LG flashing tool, the bootloader will get updated to the newest version and it’s unclear if you can downgrade to older version again.
One more significant thing before you grab the download URL, this firmware is only for F400S. Don’t try to flash it on any other LG G3 versions as it’ll brick your device and we don’t want it to happen. If you made your mind to take a chance, get the download link from below.
